If you love the outdoors and nature, have you ever considered glamping? Bali Cliff Glamping is Bali’s newest hidden gem, where the beauty of camping meets luxury indulgence. Positioned on the clifftop, 20 minutes North of Candidasa, the beautifully appointed tents blend rustic canvas with elegant wooden panels and a bamboo roof. Inside, polished wooden floors lead you to your en-suite bathroom that offers luxurious amenities while staying connected to the serenity of nature.
Bali Cliff Glamping is the perfect stop-off if you’re touring the island and heading towards Amed. This boutique-style haven features only six intimate tents, creating an exclusive, tranquil escape where you can truly disconnect.
Waking up at dawn is an experience in itself. At 5:30 a.m., I stood at the edge of my tent’s private terrace, greeted by a brief but breathtaking spectacle – a golden band stretched across the horizon for just two fleeting minutes. The atmosphere shifted as the clouds rolled in, giving way to something even more magical. At 6:10 a.m., the sun reappeared, casting the sky in soft, fiery hues of tangerine and red that deepened as the morning went on. It was a moment of pure awe, the perfect way to greet the day, enveloped by the sounds and sights of nature.
After soaking in the sunrise, I wandered over for a poolside breakfast, a delight of fresh fruits, and a full-cooked breakfast, just in time to catch the 8:00 am show of traditional wooden Jukung fishing boats returning to Seyara Beach, just below the clifftop. Watching them glide across the vast expanse of water was an unforgettable sight. Later, Warung Chic, the on-site restaurant, fired up its wood-fired pizza oven and got ready to churn out delicious pizzas day and night. The lunch menu was a delightful mix of international and local flavours. Still, as a seafood lover, I couldn’t resist the catch of the day – fresh snapper, delicately spiced and served alongside thick, homemade French fries.
The service at Bali Cliff Glamping truly sets this boutique glamping resort apart. The friendly manager, Oka, ensures every need is met with warmth and attention to detail. When I arrived, the staff offered a detailed walk-through of my tent (a service rarely experienced in Indonesia), setting the tone for a stay filled with thoughtful touches. Every detail was meticulously handled, making my experience exceptional from start to finish.
The glamping tents are equipped with all the comforts of a luxury hotel – electrical outlets, portable AC units, Wi-Fi, and secure safes while embracing glamping’s romance. The divine infinity pool offers breathtaking views of the expansive ocean below.
Do not miss visiting the stunning Ujung Water Palace, which is just a five-minute drive away. It has lush gardens and panoramic views of the volcano.
Bali Cliff Glamping is more than just a place to stay—it’s an immersive experience that connects you with nature in the most luxurious way possible. Whether you’re into snorkeling, diving, or simply soaking in the beauty of the outdoors, this retreat is a paradise waiting to be discovered.
